Behavioral Health

We know that good mental health is the key to good physical health. Our Behavioral Health team works closely with our medical providers to help patients overcome life’s challenges, find balance, and thrive.

We can provide support and counsel for:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety, stress, and panic attacks
  • Marital and relationship problems
  • Family and parenting challenges
  • Grief counseling
  • Domestic violence
  • Behavioral problems
  • Anger management
  • Sexual abuse (ages 13 and above)
  • Teen issues
  • Chronic disease and other health concerns
  • Addiction and substance use support

Connections to other resources

We can help connect you and your family to additional services, such as:

  • Housing and utility assistance
  • Health insurance coverage and medical bill payment options
  • Food assistance including food stamps, WIC, and local pantry programs
  • And more!

Supporting and treating the whole patient

We have behavioral health consultants who work alongside our medical providers and can assess patients for depression, substance abuse, and other goals to better their health.  The primary mission of our behavioral health consultants is to encourage patients along their individual journeys by promoting their strengths which help them to have better overall health outcomes.

For individuals who may need additional support (such as chronic mental health/substance abuse issues or a crisis), the behavioral health consultants will refer to our Behavioral Health department or to outside psychiatric services if needed.

Telehealth

Telehealth visits are a great option to meet with a Sam Rodgers provider from the comfort of your own home. However, not all medical needs can be addressed during a telehealth visit. We use a technology called Doxy.Me for our telehealth visits. For more information, please visit our full Telehealth (will hyperlink) page or call to discuss it with a member of our team.

How we’re different

Our priority is the health of you and your family. You are safe in our hands and your information is confidential.

We respect diverse values, beliefs, and feelings, and can provide care in multiple languages. Our staff, nurses, and doctors share the same diverse backgrounds as our patients and understand your life experience.

We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. If you don’t have insurance, we can help you apply or we will determine a cost based on your income and family size. We will never deny health care if a patient is unable to pay.
