Dr. Samuel U. Rodgers believed that health care was a basic human right. His vision to ensure quality, accessible care regardless of ability to pay led to him founding the health center fifty years ago.
We're here because we love what we do. Hear from three Sam Rodgers Health Center providers about how they help create a safe space for families.

Since the early days of our health center, we began educating our patients and the community on important health topics, including:
Our Community Access and Engagement team members are the eyes and ears of Sam Rodgers. Serving the health care needs of minorities, immigrants, and refugees can present special challenges for health care providers.
Outreach services help provide essential services and programs that reduce the barriers to good health for minorities and newcomers to the community by breaking down language barriers, identifying the medical needs within the population, improving the conceptions of health within a culture, and helping patients navigate a complicated health care system.
We provide transportation to and from all service locations. Contact us here.
Our priority is the health of you and your family. You are safe in our hands and your information is confidential.
We respect diverse values, beliefs, and feelings, and can provide care in multiple languages. Our staff, nurses, and doctors share the same diverse backgrounds as our patients and understand your life experience.
We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. If you don’t have insurance, we can help you apply or we will determine a cost based on your income and family size. We will never deny health care if a patient is unable to pay.
