Betty Nwabuonwu, PMP, PSM

Betty is an Information Technology professional with over thirty years of progressive experience in Program and Project Management, Employee Development, Risks Assessment and Management, with effective communication skills with proven ability to earn stakeholders’ buy-in and willingness to negotiate on scope, schedule, and budget. She has nearly two decades of experience managing complex projects across various industries including Banking, Manufacturing, Transportation and Logistics.

Betty has over 20 years of experience serving on various boards of directorship, including the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Community Health Charities of Kansas & Missouri, Project Management Institute – KC Chapter and Board of Counselors at Avila University. She also served for 16 years as a Volunteer Teacher for The Junior Achievement of America.

Betty first served on the board of Samuel U. Rodgers Health in 2002 and returned to the board in 2017.
