Early Detection Saves Lives and Everyone Deserves the Chance.
Getting screened can feel like a big decision, especially if you’re nervous or unsure where to start. But you’re not alone. Mammograms are one of the most effective tools to find breast cancer early, before symptoms appear. That’s when treatment works best and the chances of survival are highest.
The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommends mammograms every two years for most women aged 40 to 74. If you’re not sure what’s right for you, our care team can help you decide based on your health history and personal risk.
At Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, we offer advanced 3D tomographic mammograms for both routine screening and diagnostic follow-up. Our imaging team is here to provide care that’s not only accurate but also thoughtful and respectful – because we know this process can be emotional, especially if it’s your first time.
